It's time to let this 1974 BMW R90S go to a new home. The bike was manufactured in April '74 and has just under 31K miles. I bought it in 2013 from a collector in NH, and am the fourth owner. I have the original bill of sale, as well as a complete service record beginning in 2006. I even have the factory toolkit and shop rag.
As you can see in the photos, the original TT smoke silver paint is in amazing condition and still turns heads. This R90S is mostly stock, with the exception of replacement OEM pipes, IKON shocks, a San Jose fork brace, oil temp/pressure gagues and drilled front rotors, all done by previous owners. I've added replica Hepco hard cases, which have been barely used and retail for nearly $1000. The fairing is in great shape, with only a minor crack, as shown in the photos.
While out for a ride recently (this is a rider, after all), the crossover manifold cracked where a clamp secures to the main header. I will not be repairing this before sale, but do have a new OEM replacement pipe that I will pass along to the new owner.
