Chevy Tahoe 2007, LT, leather interior, very clean, cold air for the summer, regularly maintained and free of mechanical issues. I've had the car since 2008 when it was only one year old and had 17K miles on it when I bought it. It now has slightly over 116K so it has not been driven much and is well below avg. miles for its age. The car has not seen almost any use since last year, since I purchased another, newer vehicle as my daily driver. Clean title in hand, ready to go.
The good: Car has no known mechanical defects. Every issue was addressed, there are no lights (red, orange or otherwise), non working air conditioner, windows, tailgate, radio, no puddle of oil after being parked, etc. I'm selling you this car the way I'd want to purchase it from you. If it wasn't on the road then it was garaged throughout its entire life. I will work with you if you want some independent mechanic to take a look at it. I live in 60634 are code, find a local mechanic (if you intend to take the car out of state), call him, pay him and I'll drop the car for inspection and he will give you his own assessment directly and then you can make your own decision. I will also work with you if you want to have the car shipped. Chose your freight, pay them and I'll drop the car off (as long as it's not excessively far away) - let's say up to 30 miles away from 60634. The best mileage I got out of the car was 448 miles for 26 gallon tank (trip to Wisconsin not exceeding 65 miles/h).
The bad:I've had this car for over 12 years and 9 of which was flawless and worry free driving. In 2017 there was an issue with the engine (one or more of the cylinders was not holding the pressure) and at 95,000 miles original engine had to be replaced. Current engine came off of 09 Tahoe with 87,000 miles. I bought it for $2995 and install cost another $1480. Last year there was an issue with a transmission, which was also repaired for $1540. If you live in Illinois then you may benefit from warranty on it. You will have to replace driver's side floor mat. It has a hole in it from the heel of my shoe (see pic). Carpet in the cargo area has been damaged by battery acid. It's all cleaned up but damage is there (see pic). You will have to buy new tires. Your safety will not be compromised on your way home but you should replace them sooner or rather than later. They will be OK for the fall but get new ones if you want to drive in the snow. There are two tiny cracks in the windshield (caused by falling stones from a truck I was following), both below my eyesight and I've been driving like that for years. The worse mileage I got out of the car was 175 miles for 26 gallon tank (driving to and from train station [3 miles away] in the winter).
Car is in very good shape and will serve you well. Having said that I can not give you any guarantees or warranties. I'm a private seller without dealer infrastructure. You are buying a used car for the best price you can (no reserve auction) but it's still a used car. I always put premium gas in all cars I have ever owned, including this one - you should too. I don't know why Ebay put 'Flexible V8' - this is not flex fuel engine. Drive it on 93 octane.
You can watch the video of the car at drive.google.com/file/d/1SYFp2pctpAc8YrcUYturFWamK__NUNSt/view?usp=sharing
Let me know if you have any questions, want to see more pictures, etc. If you live in the area feel free to come and see the car before placing a bid. I work from home these days and I'm flexible with hours.
