 I have been doing the 65A Poweraythor for over 30 years on a custom basis and have sell them over the world with lots of satisfied customer's.For those who asked concerning shipping to Canada and USA it is about 30 dollars US,everywhere in the world it is around 100 dollars US
Please take the
time to read this description carefully: 
 "Are you interested in riding, more than working on, your
classic Old Harley? ?Tired of fooling with your archaic,
unreliable, 12-volt, Harley style-65A generator?  Are you
ready to upgrade your even earlier, stone-age, 6-volt, Harley
style-58 generator, with its feeble, dim, yellow headlight
and taillight, to 12-volts? Well, friend, prepare to 'see the
light!' and come out of the Dark Ages!" 
 
«The Poweraythor 65A» is a modern,
bolt-in, 12-volt replacement alternator for your old
Harley-Davidson. Installing this great little unit requires no modification
to your vintage Pride and Joy, just install it and forget it.   «The Poweraythor 65A»   provides up to
40 amperes of reliable DC current, with no separate rectifier or regulator
required. 
 
This unit adapts a new Denso 40 amp, 12 Volt alternator with a «built-in voltage regulator» to reliably provide all the power you will ever need to run your
vintage Harley-Davidson. It is easily installed, and
perfectly replaces your less-than-reliable Model 65A generator on Harley-Davidson Ironhead
Sportsters from 1958 to 1983 and on Big Twins from 1958 to 1969, including the late Panhead and the Generator-Shovelhead.
 
This is a very
reliable alternator that has proven over the years that Denso is one of the
world leaders in charging systems.  This alternator uses internal components that can be purchased
directly from any alternator or automotive repair shop.
I have had one
(rebuilt) installed on my 1967 Generator-Shovelhead for over 30
years and I have never had a problem of any kind with it.   There was an article referring to this
alternator in the January, 2006 issue of the American Iron
magazine (letters). It was titled "All Charged Up."
The alternator
itself has been completely disassembled; glass beaded and painted with
industrial glossy black epoxy by a professional body man. The adapter portion that bolts to your Harley motor is made of high
quality, 6061 T6 aluminum, includes a high quality bearing and seal,
and is bolted to the alternator with stainless steel countersunk screws.
The new shaft is made of E4140 stress relief alloys steel, and includes a
new slip ring. All components are made of the best possible
materials.
This  unit has been checked in every step of its manufacture to insure you
that you get the best possible alternator on the market for your vintage Harley-Davidson.
This Poweraythor
comes with clear, step-by-step
installation instructions, including color
photographs, for easy installation in your garage with basic hand
tools.
You will
receive one bench-tested Denso alternator that has
been completely modified to bolt up to your early
Harley-Davidson's crankcase,  and an electrical  plug-in that fits the alternator (note the 2 wires leading
from unit pictured: one wire is for the lights, one wire goes to
the key switch). You will also receive the nut, the flat and the lock washer for the end
of the input shaft. No gasket or gear included. You will need to remove the
existing gear from your generator to re-use.  
Note: this unit uses the gear of the Model 65A generator
and has a 5/16-24 threaded end shaft and 5/16-24 threaded
holes through the face of the plate adaptor that bolt it to the Denso alternator.
You will still
need a battery installed in your bike; it is not designed to run
a magneto-style Harley (i.e.: Sportster XLCH) without a
battery.
This alternator
has been thoroughly bench tested at high speed. Running at 2700
RPM, it delivers 46 peak amps at 13.2 volts; more than you should ever need.
I have
hand-made quite a few of these units for friends over the years; even
similar ones for early OHV Panheads and Knucklehead, and everyone is more
than happy with the results.  
 Note: That is not the model in this auction. But,
I do not have the units that fit the early models now.
 I
have sold many examples of my alternator conversion units on
eBay in the last few years, with excellent feedbacks and glowing customer testimonials.
Two thumbs up!!!! It installed very smoothly
and works great! The peace of mind knowing I will have a charged
battery each day is great. Use me as a reference if you want.

I did get the alternator installed with no
problem ? easy install and the instructions were clear and easy to follow.
I have put about 800 miles on the unit with absolutely no issues. I use the
large Odyssey (PC925) battery in my bike and this alternator has no problem
keeping it charged, my bus voltage stays at 14.4 volts anywhere above about
1300 RPM, even with my twin 100,000 CP spotlights and headlight on high
beam,  ? so I am very pleased. l_town_dude
 
 
I have
purchased two Poweraythors now,1 for my son's 1963 panhead,and 1 for my
1952 panhead.There is no better alternator on the market for the old
bikes.I highly recommend them and if I add another old bike to my stable,I
WILL put a Poweraythor on it for the best charging system available.AAA+++

Ray, your Poweraythor
32E is the greatest thing I have ever done to help keep my UL Flathead
Harley on the road! 6 volt 3-brush was archaic. I put little alternator on
it years ago, but the Poweraythor32E is in a class by itself!  Installation was made easy by following
your clear instructions. I had drilled out my mounting holes to
5/16ths-inch years ago to put on the little alternator, but with both sets
of holes already built into your unit, installation of the Poweraythor32E
was a breeze! Electrical output is fantastic, and keeps the big FLH battery
mounted behind the seat in my sidecar fully charged, and I?m sure it would
run any accessories or lights I could imagine to add. Thanks a million,

FWIW, I put Ray's
alternator on my bike 3 years ago. No more maintenance...I basically forgot
about it. Now I run my spots, headlamps, running lights without wondering
on long trips what shape my gennys in. Well worth the money, and a quality
built product, as everyone here who has one will attest to. Not much more
money than buying a new generator and regulator.(from Shovelhead.us forum)
